In fact it is only an USB interface for USB inpt from PC or NAS with 4 outputs including BNC, RCA , AES and I2S (HDMI). The output from I2S can handle DSD upto 11.2MHz (DSD256)
Like its first generation chip, this 2nd gen xu208 board is still using 800 samples as buffer and this size is not adjustable through a control panel.
I just used the ASIO Caps.exe to get this information.
I've heard that some other DAC brands are using the "Thesycon" equivalent full featured driver allowing adjustment and better sq. afaik the "Thesycon" has to be licensed. http://www.xmos.com/support/usb-audio-driver-support

Preferred the I2S than the AES out.
There is no switch to work with. Just install the driver, plug in the USB cable, connect the output port to the DAC and play music.
The chassis doesn't get hot.
The Singxer SU-1 is absolutely outstanding, especially with consideration for the price. It’s definitively superior to the Mutec MC-1.2 and all other USB to S/PDIF converters I’ve tried apart from the Mutec MC-3+ Smart Clock USB. In my “modest” (MHDT Labs Canary to a Garage1217 Project Sunrise III) work setup, its not discernibly inferior to the Mutec at all. Differences can be heard in my home setup, but they are hard to hear.
