Well, 250 has a more outstanding chasis and I buy it because simply it has a better outlooking, and it is flagship product. At the same price, 400 really has a better cp value.

You are right
The devialet analog input will change into digital signal inside the machine anyway, before it becomes analog again to the speakers

So in that sense, the house sound of the player might be decreased

However, I've used AA drive and also ARC CD8 as cd transport
They do sound different

Yes
That's right
Either AESEBU or USB will be fine
They short crystal digital cable is supplied in the d400

Then use your speaker cable to the speakers and you're done!

Thanks, so if I have a Weiss MAN301, all I need is connect it to the input of one of the D400 and then bridge the 2 together and use a simple speaker cable to connect to the speakers?

Devialet is indeed an integrated amplifier with built-in DAC.  You can connect your source to Devialet through Analog (RCA only) input or through digital input (AES/USB/Toslink/Coxial) using the built-in Dac to decode.

D400 is actually 2 units of D200 connected through a digital cable, you can select its output as mono-amp (with double power output) or bi-amp.

我都好鍾意傻佬信，但兩次上名望佢都有事未試到機，最後緣慳一面

超級初步聽感，用貴豐mikado cd player rca去D250
速度感好好，空氣感亦好，分析力真的無話可說

初用頭2小時好吉耳仔，warm up後機殼微熱，聲音回順
其他一切要等近百小時熱身後才可作準
