Did you try matching the VDH with different impedance? The VDH is very sensitive to loading impedance, the difference can be day and night.......

I am using the VDH Black Beauty, it should be the most warm sounding cartridge among the VDH cartridge line, I used to use a phono without impedance option, just MM and MC, but I always have the feeling that the VDH can sound better if I can change the loading impedance, that is why I finally changed my phono amp with wider range of impedance option, after tried with different loading, I finally settle with 1k ohm loading with best result.....

Regarding your MySonic Lab cartridge, you may try using the original Step-up transformer or other SUT, but you will need the 088 MM module to be used with the SUT.

請問VPS MM gain 是34dB (Lo) & 49dB (Hi0? 若加 My Sonic Lab 1030 升壓牛， 總gain 是34 dB + 26dB = 60 dB (Lo) 和 49 dB  + 26 dB = 75 dB (Hi)?

I use "Techdas" TDC 01 Ti cartridge, which is basically the same cartridge with "my sonic lab" platinum signature, only differs with outer shell construction (Titanium instead of Aluminum). Naturally it is a good match with the "my sonic lab" 1030 step up transformer.

Wah, Simcity Gor, how do you compare the MC Century and the TechDas carts?

TechDAS cartridge is very heavy, it is a better match with Graham Elite tonearm than Ortofon MC Century. I guess sound is more dynamic and lively with TechDAS but Ortofon will have higher resolution and more details.

Simcity, please correct me if i am wrong.
