I have not tried Elroy ER211, ER242 uses a different anode, so the sound can well be different.

As for ER242, I don’t think there is any problem playing classical music. It is a very well made and good sounding 211. It is the best modern tube I have tried. I find myself listen to ER242 more than other tubes. If you are not looking for the vintage tube sound given by GE or RCA, Elroy is a good choice.

最近忍唔住又買 211，今次買了 天津 Full Music 全真 天王211SL。

Full Music 早幾年前已停止生產，但間公司仍然有運作，現在還可以買到他們的庫存貨，是 NOS new old stock，出廠前有技師幫客人配對和量度參數，附上量度報告，可以放心購買。從相都見到這支 211SL 特別大支，比其他 211的體積大好多，我笑佢是肥婆奶奶的身形，唔聽得都睇得。

這 211製作非常認真，鍍金膽座過咗幾年沒有退色，應該是鍍了很厚的金層，膽身玻璃特別厚，否則咁大支膽，怎能頂得住真空大氣壓力，燈絲很短和內藏，使用時不會發出明顯的膽光，廠方說這樣會令支膽特別耐用，但喜歡睇膽光的朋友就失望了。包裝也很靚，用一個手工好靚的木盒包裝，感覺很明貴和有心。

Full Music 211SL 聲音很有膽味，現代膽出到舊膽的韻味，十分難得。現代膽多數走高清明快路線，即比較硬聲和快聲，但這支 211 係刻意走另一路線，聲音鬆容優雅，令人聽得很舒服，真係估唔到大陸膽可以出到咁靚聲。

40年代 GE 211 和 Full Music 211SL 聲底好相似，兩支都有足夠韻味，唔會硬聲°

要細分是 GE211 的高音無 Full Music 211SL 出得咁盡，但低音就 Full Music 比較慢，兩款膽的整體表現 sonic presentation 係有分別。

我有儲膽癮，最近又買 211，買吓買吓現在有7套，點用得哂。

今次入了 林籟 Cossor 211 黑瓶，新出的 Cossor 已轉交由 貴族之聲生產，聲音如何不得而知，這兩對林籟 Cossor 是貨尾，據報比新出的更好聲，插落機試聽十分滿意，它價錢不貴，是七種 211中最平宜的一套．它有舊膽的韻味和新膽的分析力，動態無壓縮，樣樣嘢企企理理，咁嘅價錢是交足貨。膽機真好玩。
