W4S DAC2 試音安排... 暈低...

I have a W4S Dac2. Although is not fully break in and using all supplied power cord/usb cable, the sound/detail is quite good.

Decent 試音室其實係好應該，不過曾經去過一些大牌子代理既show room，設計冇得彈，不過水漲船高，香港租金驚人，mark up價錢亦相對得人驚，而且著得寒酸d，更連招呼都費事…
W4S 係美國website 有價錢，而香港賣價既mark up 很合理(當然代理入貨價比公開零售價低), 以呢個profit margin 計，我懷疑每月要賣五十部先夠交租，過百部先有$做room acoustic。

香港人玩hifi，受環境限制，不只自己家，更連周邊都受影響，唉

租金貴呢個真係事實，所以我之前都建議代理唔一定話要有咩似樣o既Showroom去俾人試
工廠區Office又好，Home Office都無問題，只要你Setup Ok價錢又唔係食水深，其實好多人都願意聽聲收貨

況且佢代理幾個牌子，D人可以直接比較o添啦~ 唔買DAC 2咪買DAC1囉~ haha

Agree, audition room doesn't come free, together with staffing, utilities and other things, in the end they are all reflected back in the price, I think compare with buying direct from the US the asking price in Hong Kong is very reasonable, no one wants to be in a losing business so you take some and lose some, in this case buyers get a reasonable price, local support but need to figure out the audition part.

其實我覺得只是現在的地方，若可以安排到一個細空問，最少喇叭要正常聽歌水平吧！立体感、定位欠奉，又唔係坃高置？！都比人聽真下個動態和音色啊！只要對人有兩三尺距離都可以啊！部機在網上的評論真係唔錯，只可惜冇得聽真，是很易令人卻步的！

Your feedback is well received. In fact, we brought a pair of active speakers (Abacus A-Box 10) to for audition 2 months ago. But there is problem with the A/C power which trigger the active speaker protection circuit to cut the sound. Unfortunately we are not able to resolve the problem.

I think I better remove the DAC2 installed in the cd store. Just focus on an office which can also serve audition by appointment.

我依家仲等緊部MyTEK DSD192出(話今個月啊下...)，所以先仲有機會等試部W4S DAC2~ haha
如果唔係其實我已經放棄左... 會揀DAC1 / DA11 / M903(呢部係條USB線麻煩D)...
