Here's a good sample to setup 2.x system
1)Check the speaker response in the room by running calibration thru Pre-pro,AVR or DRC products.
Floorstands usually run deeper than center channel which is a book shelf like speaker most of them.
Now you have a picture how low FQ performs in your mains.
2)Set the X.over to compensate the rolling down LF from mains
50+ Hz, in this case looks about right, but that's for theory
You may start from here and fine tune the X.over to best fit your hearing preference.
Bass lovers might want more overlap from SW for example.
3)As shown in the chart,
Room mode is obviously the No.1 killer for LF quality given a good system we already have.
