其實好簡單，假設你的唱頭針壓是2g，首先將SME V唱臂的動態唱壓SET去1g，然後用針磅配合，利用尾錘去調整到2g，這樣就形成一半動態和一半靜態平衡。

Thank you for your explanation. But is 唱臂的動態唱壓 = the Vertical Tracking Force control knob?  And 尾錘 = Balance Thumbwheel at the end of the tonearm? Please explain a little bit more. Thanks so much!

A "dynamically balanced" tonearm is one where, in the absence of other forces, the counterweight is tuned to balance the tonearm into a horizontal plane. Another force (that is non-gravitational in nature) applies the VTF. And in most cases, including the legendary SME V, the tracking force is applied using a spring :)

I see. Thanks to Simcity c-hing. So, unlike SME V, not every tonearm can exert non-gravitational force via a spring force.

Hi simcity hing,
how about the design of rega's arm? heard that it also using "spring" for VTF.
so some diy upgrade parts sub weight advised that the tracking force must set to max point to
release the "spring" on rega arm before install the sub weight parts.

Hi TCKL C Hing, I have also used Rega 700 tonearm previously.  It's more of an entry level compared with SME V :)
