you have good enough gears and cables...always better for higher price items.., however from your layout, your room shall get better sound stage than existing speaker placement...a few inches..will make quiet a big different for sound stage and image separation
I suggest the following, the best.., get a c hing from here and test with them
1. pull the speaker out ...let's say 28"
2. Keep right speaker position , and pull the left speaker further away from the left wall, let;s say..left to right speaker now at 76 inches, and now the ear to speaker distance should be around ..78 inches or a bit less
3. Starting by no toe in, if toe in is needed, in your room ,left toe in angle should be more than the right speaker, since the overall depth of the room is only 10.5 feets, and left wall is quiet closed to the left speakers. worth to try bigger toe in angle
4: if Sound of your room is relatively lively and transparent ..etc., then u can try some Sound absorption material (thick and dense carpet..etc..) at the first reflection point at the left
5 . If the sound of your room is bit dark..., Diffuser at the left wall may be a better idea
6: the wall behind your sofa, must be treated with very effective absorption materials
7: carpet in between u and the speaker
8. of coz, sound absorption material at the centre of the wall behind the speaker
if u still not quiet happy with the improvement , from your set up, i suggest u change your speaker |
